 Founded in 1872, Sciences Po is a university renowned for offering a multi-disciplinary education in the social sciences (Economics, Law, History, Sociology, Political Science). Of the 8 600 students at Sciences Po, 41% are from international backgrounds. 
Sciences Po prepares its students to become leaders in the public and private sectors through a three-year Bachelor’s degree program, the last year of which is spent abroad, followed by an optional two-year Masters.
In addition to its flagship campus in Paris, Sciences Po is also composed of five separate regional campuses, each with its own identity and area of expertise: Nancy (Franco-German studies), Dijon (Central and Eastern European Studies), Poitiers (Spanish and Portuguese and latin american studies), Menton (Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Gulf Studies) and Le Havre (Asian studies).
In September 2010, Sciences Po will open its sixth regional campus. Occupying a 17th century former Jesuit college, the Sciences Po Campus in Reims, located 45 minutes by high-speed rail from Paris, will welcome North American and European students studying Transatlantic Relations. Students will benefit from the rich and diverse relationships that Sciences Po has developed over the years with over 80 partner universities in Canada and the United States. Among French universities, Sciences Po receives the largest number of North American students every year.

Le collège universitaire de Sciences Po a la particularité de se déployer sur six campus, chacun ayant une identité propre : Paris, Nancy (cycle européen franco-allemand), Dijon (cycle européen-Europe centrale et orientale), Poitiers (cycle Amérique latine, Espagne et Portugal), Menton (cycle Moyen-Orient – Méditerranée, Golfe) et Le Havre (cycle Europe-Asie).
En septembre 2010, Sciences Po ouvrira les portes de son nouveau collège universitaire (cycle transatlantique) à Reims, situé à 45 minutes de Paris. Installé dans un collège jésuite datant du XVIIème siècle, les élèves de ce campus, à majorité européennes et nord-américaines, se consacreront à l’étude des relations transatlantiques. Ce campus bénéficiera de l’ancienneté et de la densité des relations que Sciences Po entretient avec l’Amérique du Nord, et ses quelque 80 partenaires universitaires au Canada et aux Etats-Unis.
