Le Mozart des pickpockets just won the French César and the Oscar for best short of the year 2008!
Since 1997, the festival of movie shorts Les Lutins du court métrage nominates and rewards the year's best French and European movie shorts.
This year, the Délégation générale of the Alliance Française in the US offers a coursework based on one of the 2 laureates, Le Mozart des pickpockets by Philippe Pollet-Villard, for which you can download a guide here.
The guide consists in 40 pages of notes and ideas on how to transform the movie experience into a learning one. This guided coursework in French as a foreign language is for levels A1, A2, B1 and B2.
