Online Teaching Resources: MERLIN

Thursday, May 14, 2009

Since late 2007, MERLIN website (Media Ressources for Language Instruction) offers bibliographies, online activites and lesson plans for learning and teaching French, prepared by FIAF in New York and the Delegation generale.

These resources target learners as well as media librarians and instructors.

This month, MERLIN has been updated with 2 major entries:

  • A bibliographical update on teaching and learning materials published between January and March 2009, prepared by Katharine Branning her team at FIAF (New York) BIBLIOGRAPHY UPDATES
  • A new series of 9 lesson plans on French songs, created by Stéphanie Maçon from the Alliance Française de Chicago CHANSON FRANÇAISE

Last but not least, don't miss this very useful introduction to make students feel at home in your media library HOW DO I SAY?
