It is our great pleasure to officially award
Mr. Essau Landa of Sharyland High School, TX
with the Rotary Academic Prize 2009.
The General Delegate of the Alliance Française in the United States and the 2008-2009 President of the International Programs of the Rotary wish to congratulate Essau Landa for the distinction awarded to him in Le Grand Concours of the AATF. This distinction acknowledges his excellence in the French language and his commitment to French culture, and has therefore earned him the honor of being named the grand prize winner of the 2009 Rotary Academic Prize.
Mr. Essau Landa will be rewarded with a 2-week linguistic immersion program in Paris, France, sponsored by the Rotary Club Paris Académies (France, District 1660) and the Alliance Française USA.
With our most sincere congratulations to Essau Landa and to Mrs. Linda Freligh, his French teacher at Sharyland High School, and with our thanks to Mary Ricciardi of the South Texas chapter of the AATF.
